iGNITE Scholarship
Spring Arbor University acknowledges the tough economic times that many families are experiencing in the local communities that we serve. We realize that although you know that furthering your education will improve your personal situation, the price of higher education might make you think twice about whether this is the right timing.
We understand that, which is why we are introducing our economic stimulus scholarship, the iGNITE Scholarship. This scholarship, which is for our students enrolled in classroom-based Graduate and Professional Studies programs, helps to make your college degree a reality now. This scholarship program is Spring Arbor University’s answer to your concerns about affordability.
Starting this fall, we will offer the scholarship for new students who begin their enrollment in a qualifying classroom-based undergraduate or graduate-level program at one of our 15 off-site locations. We offer programs at various locations around Michigan and in Ohio. Start dates vary depending on the program and location. To be eligible, you must apply for admission a minimum of two weeks before the program orientation. Students enrolled in one of the eligible programs will receive a certain percentage off their tuition, ranging from 5 to 20 percent.
Qualifying programs include*:
This scholarship program is not affiliated with any federal government program and is an expression of Spring Arbor University’s commitment to partner with our local communities and give people a hand up during this economic downturn. It is tied to the current climate of Michigan's local economies and, as such, the scholarship will end at the point Michigan's economy improves - or if the economic rebound is significantly prolonged, the University may opt to end the scholarship prior to economic recovery in order to exercise sound fiscal responsibility. Any students who enrolled in programs under the scholarship would continue to receive the scholarship under the normal provisions.
