Education: Bachelor of Arts in Humanistic Studies from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Ind.

Interests: Books, films, my family and dogs, learning to cook, and the outdoor lifestyle found "up north"

My faith supports me in times of joy, and frees me from worry, fear, and isolation in times of hardship. My daily relationship with God has allowed me to be a better daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.

Statement of purpose: It is a delight to help students find the program that will improve their lives. We all have stumbled on our journey, and I feel a special affinity for the learners I meet through SAU. I hope to help them fulfill the dream of a degree, whether they started it 30 years or three children ago.

For those individuals who have been waiting, finding excuses and blaming obligations that delay their education, the time to start is now. Just take that first step and be on the road to a better job and better quality of life. Do it for yourself and improve your circumstances, do it for your parents who didn’t have these opportunities, do it for your kids so they can learn the value of education … just take that first step. The sacrifice is short lived, but the benefits last a lifetime. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13
