This form is for students enrolling in a traditional, undergraduate program on the main campus in Spring Arbor, Michigan.*
Completing and submitting this form will result in an estimate based on the financial and personal information you submit. The accuracy of the estimate may vary depending on the quality of the information that you provide, as well as changes in federal, state, and institutional policies that may occur. In essence, we are providing this estimate as if you were attending SAU in the current year using current costs and financial aid policies.

Instructions: In order for us to provide an accurate estimate, you must complete this entire form. Even those areas which may not apply to your situation may require a response, so please do not leave any area blank. We will use your contact information to provide you with your estimate once it is completed.

Step 2: CALCULATE FAMILY CONTRIBUTION (EFC)
To determine your eligibility for need-based financial aid, select a link below to complete either the federal financial aid FAFSA4caster or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once you’ve completed the appropriate form, you will receive a report indicating your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Please print a copy of the report for your records and fill-in the blank below.

PLEASE NOTE: The SAU school code is requested on the “4caster” form, but the information is not sent to SAU by the government.

Step 3: ACADEMIC INFORMATION
To determine your possible eligibility for a Spring Arbor University academic scholarship, please provide your academic information.
Step 4: ATHLETIC INFORMATION
To determine your possible eligibility for an athletic scholarship, please indicate if you plan on playing a sport at the intercollegiate level (this is not intramurals). If you are not planning on playing an intercollegiate sport, then please select the option of “None.”. If you are pursuing the possibility of playing in more than one sport, then you must hit Ctrl and the additional selection otherwise it will cancel your first selection.
Step 5: ART / MUSIC INFORMATION
Art and music scholarships are also available and are based upon a portfolio review or audition. Please indicate if you have an interest in pursuing a scholarship in either (or both) of these areas.

**Note to Athletes: Within a week we will provide prospective intercollegiate athletes an estimate of federal and state aid (grants and loans), plus Spring Arbor University scholarships. The timing of an athletic scholarship offer may take longer and will be at the discretion of the coach.
