Welcome to the Office of Student Development & Learning
Student Development and Learning on SAU’s campus is all about the students. Our departmental mission statement is: Love enough to challenge. Care enough to support
It is our goal to facilitate student learning and development both inside and outside the classroom. Each year, Student development and learning sponsors hundreds of programs, services and activities created to engage students, body, soul and spirit. From our top-ranked chapel program, outreach ministries, and spring break mission trips to our popular intramural program and more social activities than your social calendar can fit, student development and learning seeks to meet the spiritual, social, intellectual and emotional needs of our students.
Since you’ve found our Web site, I invite you to check out all our department has to offer. Again, it’s all about the students so you are sure to find a few programs and services that will peak your interest. Take the time to check out our activities calendar as well as read the profiles of our staff. We are here to serve, challenge and support.
