Dr. Charles H. WebbCharles Webb, formal

Spring Arbor University's 29th president

It is an honor and a privilege to return to my alma mater and assume the presidency of Spring Arbor University. As president, I am committed to building on the University’s momentum and its role in impacting Christ’s kingdom.

As president, I believe we have a sacred trust with our students. No matter how they are experiencing SAU – whether it is at our main campus, learning sites or online – it is an awesome responsibility to ensure they receive a quality liberal arts experience that is integrated with a Christian worldview.

My experience at SAU prepared me – as well as my wife, Philippa – for a life of service that we could not have comprehended would be so expansive. As students at SAU, Philippa and I were stretched and equipped with an excellent education that has served us very well.

The Spring Arbor University Concept is something that has impacted our life and that we have lived and modeled since our time at SAU. It has been a way of life for us. We have tried to excel at the topmost of our abilities and to not to be afraid to tackle bold initiatives. It is with this same degree of commitment that we assume our new responsibilities at SAU as president and first lady. Our joint desire is to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ.

The presidency of Spring Arbor University is definitely a capstone experience; yet I know my ultimate capstone experience will be seeing my Lord and Savior face-to-face.
