Get involved
Looking to get involved as an SAU alum but need some inspiration? Below are a list of ways you can lend your support.
12 simple ways to get involved with the SAU Alumni Association
- E-mail Irene Price Greiner, director of alumni relations, at irene.price@arbor.edu to offer suggestions about alumni programs or member benefits.
- Visit SAU to see firsthand all the changes on campus and learn about new programs. Homecoming and Family Weekend is the perfect time to do this.
- Serve on the Alumni Board of Directors and provide valuable ideas for alumni programming.
- Communicate with the University to learn how you can be of help through volunteer service, professional expertise and financial support.
- Tell us about internship and work opportunities for SAU students that exist in your company, community or city.
- Represent SAU at a college night or college fair sponsored by your local high school.
- Make sure that SAU admissions materials are available to students in your high school.
- Share changes in your employment, recent honors or degrees, retirements, marriages and births with other alumni. Your classmates are waiting to hear from you. Please e-mail the alumni office at lynne.markiewicz@arbor.edu with your updates to be included in the Journal.
- Provide us with your current address, phone number or e-mail.
- Encourage gifted students to consider the many SAU programs and opportunities that will allow the full development of their gifts.
- Give feedback about design and content of SAU’s website.
- Become knowledgeable about the notable achievements of SAU students, alumni and faculty. Brag about them when you have opportunity. A helpful source of information is the Journal, which is published twice a year and available on our website.
Give to SAU
Although we are always looking for volunteers, we are always looking for financial support as well. Please consider giving to the Spring Arbor University. Thank you.
