Spring Arbor University hosts sixth annual Women in Leadership Conference

[FINAL]-GSB_WIL-13-Jax-chamber-blastSpring Arbor University hosts the 6th annual Women In Leadership Conference on Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Poling Center on the University’s main campus. The Women in Leadership conference provides inspirational workshops, compelling speakers, and opportunities for networking.

This year’s conference, titled “Earn. Ask. Thrive. Success comes to those who ask for it,” features keynote speaker Sarah Laschever, author of the book, Ask for It! How Women Can Use the Power of Negotiation to Get what They Really Want. Laschever is also an accomplished editor and social critic who lectures at universities and teaches workshops about women, negotiations and challenges in the workplace.

This event is designed to assist women in fulfilling their potential as leaders. Women of all ages and backgrounds come together to collect relevant tools for spiritual, personal, and professional development.

The registration fee for the conference is $45, $25 SAU staff and faculty, and $10 for students. The cost includes a light breakfast, snacks, lunch, two keynote presentations, seven workshop options including a spa and a gift bag. A .5 continuing education credit is also available for an additional $25.
