Spring Arbor University’s Hosmer Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation welcomes Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow and global entrepreneur Anil Singh-Molares for a weeklong visit on October 7-11. Singh-Molares will conduct classes, seminars, workshops and lectures and will meet with students and faculty members informally throughout the week to share his practical knowledge in entrepreneurship and global business.
Singh-Molares will lecture in many business classes, including “Social Entrepreneurship,” “Leadership and Ethics,” “Corporate Communication” and “Principles of Management.” He will also meet with students members of Enactus, a group that uses entrepreneurial action to serve the local and global community and improve quality of life.
Singh-Molares was born in Holland and raised in Europe; he is a citizen of Spain and a permanent resident of the United States. Fluent in Spanish, French, and English, Singh-Molares advanced during 1991-2003 from managing a Microsoft foreign language team to overseeing all internationalization vendor relations for the company. Since leaving the software giant, he founded and serves as CEO of EchoMundi LLC, an international services firm that helps corporations do business abroad. Singh-Molares is also co-founder and board member of the Preeclampsia Foundation, which addresses a life-threatening, pregnancy-related disease.
The Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows program, which is administered by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in Washington, DC, brings prominent professionals to campuses across the United States for a week-long residential program of classes, seminars, workshops, lectures, and informal discussions. For 35 years, the Visiting Fellows have been introducing students and faculty members at liberal arts colleges to a wide range of perspectives on life, society, community, and achievement. The Hosmer Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation exists to provide learners with the training, mentoring and education for their preparation as entrepreneurs. The center provides opportunities for campus, graduate and professional studies students, as well as emerging and seasoned entrepreneurs. As college students nationwide have expressed interest in someday forming and owning their own business, SAU provides a center where entrepreneurship is encouraged and cultivated.
