Spring Arbor University hosts the seventh annual Women in Leadership Conference on Saturday, April 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Poling Center on the university’s main campus. The Women in Leadership conference provides inspirational workshops, compelling speakers, and opportunities for networking.
This year’s conference, titled “Lead with Integrity: A legacy for life,” features keynote speaker Desirae Kelley-Kato, who was named 2013 Greater Lansing Woman of the Year and serves as director of Capital Area Response Effort, serving domestic abuse survivors. Another special presentation is scheduled by Kristi Hoffman, an award-winning television host and producer, PBS-TV media personality and CEO of Total Package Professional.
This event is designed to assist women in fulfilling their potential as leaders. Women of all ages and backgrounds come together to collect relevant tools for spiritual, personal, and professional development.
The registration fee for the conference is $45, $25 SAU staff and faculty, and $10 for students. The cost includes a continental breakfast, snacks, lunch, two keynote presentations, seven workshop options including a spa and a gift bag. Spring Arbor University will provide .5 continuing education credit for an additional $25.
