Seniors display art in Ganton Art Gallery

Spring Arbor University’s Ganton Art Gallery will be displaying the artwork of seniors Alli Grimes, Emily Kirk and Bethany Gibbons. The opening reception is Sunday, April 13, from 2-4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public to drop by  to talk with the artists, admire the artwork, and enjoy some light refreshments.

All three artists will be displaying work created during their four years in Spring Arbor University’s art department. Grimes is a graphic design and illustration student. Her work integrates her love of illustration with the world of graphic design. Kirk is finishing a double major in graphic design and history. She incorporates both disciplines into her artwork, focusing in print media and museum exhibit design. Gibbons is a graphic design student. She focuses on creating business identities and loves exploring new ways to use color and typography in her work.

The Ganton Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.  The show will remain open to the public until May 4.
