SAUonline computer requirements

The SAUonline learning environment utilizes the widely-supported platform for online education called Blackboard. For the best online experience, please make sure your computer meets the requirements below. You may be able to take your online classes using an operating system other than Windows XP or Mac OS 10.4; however, if you need help, the help desk will only support PCs running Windows XP and Macs running Mac OS 10.4 or later.

PC requirements

• 2.0GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 processor or equivalent
• 256MB of RAM
• Internet connection; broadband cable or DSL
• Windows XP operating system or newer
• Web browser:  Internet Explorer 7.0 or Firefox 2.0

Mac requirements

• Mac OS 10.4 or later
• 256 MB RAM
• Internet connection; broadband cable or DSL
• G4, G5 or Intel-based processor
• Web browser: Safari 3.0 or Firefox 2.0 or later
