The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) – All degrees offered by Spring Arbor University are accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master’s degree program in nursing at Spring Arbor University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) – The social work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, 1725 Duke Street, Suite 500, Alexandria, VA 22314-3457.

The Music programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), 11250 Roger Bacon Dr., Suite 21, Reston, VA 20190. Questions regarding accreditation may be directed to the Office of Academic Affairs.

The School of Education is currently in candidacy for National Accreditation with the new Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), 112 E. Lincoln Ave., Fergus Falls, MN 56537.

In July of 2016, the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), granted accreditation to both our Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and our School Counseling program.
