Graphic Design

The Marketing & Communications graphic design team has the skills, creativity and know-how to take your project from concept to reality. No matter what the job, the graphic design team will ensure that it gets done and done in time.

The web services team has devoted hours and hours to studying current web standards and practices, and applying that to arboru.wpengine.com, Spring Arbor University’s external website. Interactive Media Services

Depending on the project, Marketing & Communications may also recommend that a video or another type of interactive media be utilized to complement your print and web materials. We can provide such services, in-house, but will occasionally seek outside vendors, depending on the size and complexity of the project. Our interactive media team is experienced in videography and have worked with other types of emergent media, like social networking.

Most common types of projects:

  • Commercials – We produce ads for television, radio or theater for promoting Spring Arbor University.
  • Social networking – We set up social media sites, like those on Facebook, for SAU offices or departments, as well as manage SAU’s official social media presence.
  • Online advertisements – We create advertisements for Facebook, Google and various other websites and blogs.
  • Short videos – Depending the project and its intended audience, Marketing & Communications may recommend the development of a video.
  • Event coverage – If you’re planning an event you’d like to promote, depending on the scope and nature of the event, we may recommend that a video be developed.

Photography Services

Holding an event and need a photographer? Our office can help with that. We also can photograph your office staff, faculty, or students, just let us know when and where you need us to be, and we can shoot that for you.

Editorial Services

The Marketing & Communications editorial team is often called on to craft the right words for an article, an advertisement, a radio spot, a speech, website copy, etc. Whether it is going out in a news release, in the SAU Journal, or being featured on the arboru.wpengine.com website, the editorial team is ready to tackle it all. Do you require editorial services? The editorial team has experience writing and editing and can assist you with whatever your needs.

Media Relations

Marketing & Communications serves the University’s media relations needs by acting as liaison for all inbound and outbound contact for local, regional and national news media; releasing official news regarding the University, working with local, national and international news media to promote stories about the University, maintaining the University’s news archive, and distributing weekly email announcements to faculty, staff and students.

In addition, Marketing & Communications maintains the University’s Experts Guide, which lists faculty members who have expertise in a variety of disciplines and serve as expert commentators and contacts for news outlets.
