School of Humanities

The School of Humanities provides students with a Christian perspective and the tools of analysis that will allow them to understand, describe and explain the world around them in a critical context. Areas of study cover history, modern and ancient languages, literature, philosophy, political science, religion and writing. A core element of a well-rounded education, the humanities enable insights into nearly every aspect of life. By encouraging students to think creatively and critically, to reason, to ask questions and to understand cultures, the SAU School of Humanities successfully builds future leaders, scholars, writers, researchers, teachers, lawyers, creators and entrepreneurs.
