Hometown: Parma, MI

Education: I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a double major in Sociology and Psychology.

Interests: Spending time with my husband and five daughters, being in worship and helping my husband lead our church worship services at both locations of Village Hope Church, adventures — especially treasure hunting, praying and studying the Word of God, a tall Caramel Macchiato, a good laugh with friends, and watching my girls grow and learn.

Testimony: I accepted Christ at a young age. I had a need for healing and people at my church prayed over me and anointed me. I remember that being the first time I ever really believed in God and trusted him for my salvation. Since then, life is an amazing journey of faith. I remember distinct moments along the way in college and as a young adult where God challenged me to surrender everything….hopes, dreams, my future. Most recently, the lessons He whispers and shouts to me are still about surrender, but not what I am giving up as much as what I am living for. These are the lessons against getting too comfortable and, instead, embracing an even deeper relationship with God through faith.

Statement of Purpose: I want to use my talents and abilities to serve God. I find it so rewarding to serve students and families who are considering Christian Higher Education because I know what learning in this kind of environment meant to me as I developed a worldview and sought God for His purpose in my life. I hope for similar experiences for my daughters as they begin to consider college, that they would find close Christian friendships and learning which challenges them to serve and bring Christ into their area of discipline.
