The Spring Arbor University Alumni Office exists to encourage, equip, and empower our graduates. Stay connected, share your story and support the future of SAU.
Brian Knapp ’10
Director of Alumni Relations
“Greetings, fellow Cougars! As an alumnus, former employee and supporter of Spring Arbor University, it is an honor to serve the SAU community as the new Director of Alumni Relations. My wife, Kayla (Hadley ’12), and our three children are very excited for the opportunity to move our family back to Jackson and serve our alma mater. Studying at SAU was a transformational time for both Kayla and me. Having both served in student leadership, we developed a love for Christian higher education that was rooted in the SAU Concept. After graduating, I served in the SAU enrollment office for nearly three years. In 2013, we left Spring Arbor and moved to Saint Louis, Missouri, when Kayla accepted a position as a resident director at Missouri Baptist University (MBU). I also had the privilege of serving MBU in the alumni and career office, finishing up my time as the Director of Career and Alumni Engagement. We are extremely grateful for the individuals and experiences at MBU that made us better people and higher education professionals. Kayla and I are excited to return and serve the SAU community with our time, talent and treasure. As the new Director of Alumni Relations, I am looking forward to continuing the efforts of the alumni staff who have come before me and providing value based engagement opportunities for students and alumni. The Office of Alumni Relations, along with the alumni community, is a catalyst for university growth, student advancement and kingdom work. I hope you will join SAU and me in these efforts as we strive for excellence and keep Christ as our focus.
