Come experience Autumn at the Arbor. Homecoming at SAU is an event for our entire community to gather together and enjoy everything we love about fall and SAU. Whether you are an alum, parent, employee, student, friend or community member, this day is for you and we hope to see you here on campus.

Homecoming Chapel: The Arbor Church 10 a.m.

Join us in person or via Livestream for a special Homecoming Chapel with alumni led worship and the announcement of our alumni award recipients for 2022. Alumnus John David VanValin ’08 will be our Homecoming Chapel speaker. Click here, to view SAU’s Livestream.

Alumni Awards Dinner: Ralph Carey Forum (RCF) 6 p.m.

Join us as we honor and celebrate our 2022 Alumni Award Recipients. Tickets for this event will be available beginning August 15.

Cougar Madness: The MAC 10 p.m.

Cougar Madness is for our students, employees and young alums. A time to introduce our basketball teams, play funs games, and be among the first to hear a special announcement.

Hinkley 5K Donut Dash: The McKenna Carillon Clock Tower 10 a.m.

Run our Hinkley 5K Donut Dash! Every registration includes a Homecoming t-shirt, and most importantly, a Hinkley’s donut after your run. Registration coming soon!

Welcome Home Reception: The Oak Tree 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Stop by our Welcome Home Reception for coffee and scones, a chance to mingle with our administration and faculty, and hear campus updates including a brief message from President Ellis.

Homecoming Fall Festival: The Oak Tree 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Come experience autumn at the Arbor. Enjoy Red Egg Farm Kids Zone with pumpkin painting, inflatables and games. Shop local at our vendor fair. Enjoy food trucks and listen to live alumni music.

Come watch as SAU Tennis alumni take on our current SAU Cougar Tennis team.

President’s Tailgate: Cougar Soccer Complex 2 p.m.

Connect with President and Mrs. Ellis, faculty and staff, students, parents and alumni before the Homecoming soccer game at the President’s Tailgate. Enjoy freshly grilled hotdogs and brats, chips and donuts while playing corn hole and other lawn games.

Disc Golf Course Tournament: The Oak Tree 2 p.m.

We are proud to announce we officially have an 18 hole disc golf course. Meet us Sunday at the oak tree to throw your discs for a leisurely round of disc golf.
