SAU will confer degrees to graduates during our Fall 2018 commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m.
Tickets are not needed for this event.
All parking lots on campus will be open to commencement participants and guests. Permits will not be required. Parking attendants will direct traffic.
Limited shuttle service will be available.
Child care will be available for children aged one to four. Children can be dropped off and picked up in the SAU Fieldhouse, in room 216 on the second floor. Parents are asked to provide an accessible cell phone number with which to reach them.
Wheelchair accessible parking will be available in the parking lot nearest the Fieldhouse. Parking attendants will be directing traffic and will assist you with your parking needs.
There will be designated seating areas for wheelchair users and their family members. Please see an usher for assistance finding the appropriate seating.
There are many dining and lodging options in Jackson, Michigan, which is eight miles away from campus.
There is no reserved seating at commencement. Tickets are not required.
Graduation honors are awarded to bachelor’s degree candidates for three levels of performance: summa cum laude, magna cum laude and cum laude.
