Homecoming 2017

It’s always great, having family back together! Whether you’re a graduate from a learning site, an online program or the Spring Arbor campus; a parent of a student; or a partner in the community, Homecoming is for you! Mark your calendars and plan to attend Spring Arbor University’s annual Homecoming festivities.

Alumni Chapel
Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church
Worship will be led by a collective group of chapel band members from the last 20 years. Linda (Beardslee ’77) Adams, director of International Child Care Ministries and this year’s recipient of the Alumna of the Year Award, is the speaker. Chapel is open to all students, alumni and friends of the university.

Stop by to introduce yourself, pick up a campus map/schedule of the day’s events and let us know how we can help! Enjoy a picnic lunch (11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), reconnect with faculty, staff and classmates and win prizes, compliments of Home.fm.

5K run, 2-mile walk and Kids’ Fun Run
McKenna Carillon Tower
$12/person — includes a 5K T-shirt ($5 without shirt)
Kids’ Fun Run is free.
RSVP by Sept. 10 to guarantee a T-shirt. New participants are welcome to join the morning of the race. Runners of all abilities are welcome. Proceeds support the SAU Coalition Against Human Trafficking and the cross-country and track teams.

In addition to the Saturday luncheon, the Class of 1977 is invited to the Friday night Alumni Awards Banquet, at which their fellow 1977 classmate, Linda (Beardslee ‘77) Adams will be honored as Alumna of the Year. A special section will be reserved for 1977 class members at this event (separate RSVP required).

Europe Cross Cultural Reunion

Alumni, students, faculty and staff who have been part of SAU’s three-week or semester-long programs in Europe are invited to this come-and-go reception. Reunite, reminisce and enjoy light, European refreshments. Director of CCS Diane (Harris ’74) Kurtz and various other staff and faculty will join in the celebration.
