Renn Moon

Bio

A graduate of Troy High School in 1996, Renn Moon entered the Army in 1997 as an M1A1 Armored Crewman. Mr. Moon spent four years overseas in Korea, Germany, and deployments to Kosovo and Macedonia. In 2001, Mr. Moon joined the Michigan Army National Guard as a crash-fire-rescue firefighter for two years. In 2003, Mr. Moon joined the Army ROTC at Eastern Michigan University and was commissioned as a Military Police Officer in the spring of 2005. From July 2006 to October 2007, Mr. Moon was activated and deployed to Iraq as part of a Police Transition Team.

In December 2007, Mr. Moon was offered the position as Assistant Professor of Military Science at Eastern Michigan University. Currently Mr. Moon is an adjunct faculty member at Spring Arbor University and a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University, where he is studying sports management. He earned a bachelor’s of science in public administration from Eastern Michigan University.
