Rhonda Burks

Rhonda Burks began her employment with Spring Arbor University in 2012. She started teaching in the hybrid RN to BSN program teaching mainly in Flint and Lansing. She currently is teaching in our Online RN to BSN program. Mrs. Burks has several years of teaching students, which has become the focus of her career. She has many years of cardiac nursing experience and enjoys working with the gerontology population.

Mrs. Burks developed two courses for the online nursing program. She created the Patient Centered Care I class in which the primary focus is the gerontologic population. She also created the Nursing 422 Spiritual Dimensions of Health Care class. She continues to work with the university to keep these classes current.
