Bio

Timothy Wegner is a member of the mathematics department at Spring Arbor University. He graduated from SAU with a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics as well as a teaching certificate for secondary education. He earned his Master’s degree in mathematics from Central Michigan University. He is currently working on his Ph.D. at Michigan State University in Mathematics Education.

He has taught courses in both the mathematics and computer science department and enjoys working with, and getting to know, the students of SAU.

When not teaching, he enjoys fantasy novels, playing his piano and tinkering with computers. He is an active member of his church and heads up the Sunday morning audio and visual team. He is married to Kara Wegner, his high school sweetheart and fellow graduate of SAU. She is a teacher at Eaton Rapids Middle School. They have two beautiful children, Kellyn Kay (4) and Benjamin David (1).
