Homecoming 2018 Recap

Photo of professors and students interacting at reunion

Last year’s Homecoming weekend offered a host of events for Spring Arbor University alumni, friends and family members of all ages to enjoy.

On Friday night, the awards banquet highlighted seven alumni who live out the SAU Concept in their daily lives, whether in their occupations, their volunteer service or their interactions with others. Over 170 friends, family, students and alumni gathered together at the Commonwealth Commerce Center in Jackson, Michigan, to celebrate our award recipients and their families. Recipients included Greg Bontrager ’83, Karen Parsons ’78, Gary ’70 and Jann (Cox ’69) Allen, Heidi Campbell ’92, Shaun Page ’06 and Alec Cross ’18.

On Saturday, we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon full of fun events for the whole family! Attendees participated in the 5K, faculty forum, reunions, a craft and vendor fair, Babbie Mason’s Top Songwriter event and much more. The women’s soccer team kicked off the latter part of the day with a victory against University of St. Francis!

We would love to see you this fall for Homecoming 2019. Homecoming is an SAU family reunion, and whether you graduated from a learning site, an online program or the Spring Arbor campus, we can’t wait to see you again soon!
