5th annual Leadercast Live a success

On Friday, May 5, Spring Arbor University hosted two livestreams of the Leadercast Live simulcast at its Spring Arbor and Jackson sites. Leadercast Live is the largest one-day leadership event in the world. Broadcast live each year from Atlanta to 100,000 people in hundreds of locations around the world, Leadercast Live brings together many of the world’s most recognized and respected global leaders to create a leadership experience unlike any other.

This year’s conference focused on exploring what can happen when teams and individuals are connected by purpose, specifically developing a strong organizational culture with intentional leadership that inspires extraordinary results. Speakers included Andy Stanley (pastor, leadership author and communicator), Dr. Henry Cloud (leadership expert, psychologist and best-selling author), Suzy Welch (author, TV commentator and business journalist), Tyler Perry (director, playwright, screenwriter, producer, actor, author and entrepreneur), and others.

This was the fifth year Spring Arbor has hosted the event in the greater Jackson area. Hosting the event aligns with the university’s desire to provide professional development, both in and out of the classroom, for those who seek to be leaders of purpose. Those in attendance included leaders in the business, political, educational and religious communities, as well as local high school and college students.
