SAU Sports Information Office honored for excellence in publications



SAU’s Sports Information Office was honored with 11 publication awards in the 2016-17 NAIA Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) Publications and Media Contest. The awards were announced at last week’s College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) convention in Orlando, Florida.

SAU claimed first place in one category, taking home the top spot in the Best Special Events Webpage category for its National Tournament Central page created for the women’s soccer team’s 2016 postseason run. also grabbed attention, as it was named the ninth-best website in the country out of 72 entries.

The SAU Sports Information Office was led by third-year Sports Information Director Chris Bauman and assisted by student assistants Taylor JohnstonTaylor VanSolkemaHannah Rozeveld and Courtney Kyser.
