Spring Commencement, 2018

Spring Arbor University hosted faculty, staff, students, family, friends and community members for the 2018 Spring Commencement services on Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The ceremonies, which were held in the Fieldhouse on SAU’s Spring Arbor, Michigan campus, honored traditional undergraduate students in the morning, followed by global and online undergraduate and graduate students in the afternoon.

The morning address was given by Abdu Murray, the North American Director with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Murray is the author of three books, including his latest, “Saving Truth: Finding Meaning and Clarity in a Post-Truth World”. Abdu is the Scholar in Residence of Christian Thought and Apologetics at the Josh McDowell Institute of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

The afternoon address was given by Ken Johnson, an entrepreneur, inventor, speaker and author who developed the popular card game Phase 10. Ken also developed several other well-known games. He currently owns four companies, is involved in several charities and serves as an acting board member for several organizations that are focused on education and mentorship of children and young adults.
