SAU 2022 Senior Spotlights

Undergraduate Ceremony

Each year at SAU, we look forward to highlighting our graduating seniors as well as their personal journeys, accomplishments and future plans. Each student has a unique perspective of what it means to “let your light shine.”

Here are what a few have to say about their time at SAU:

Macayla Bisher

“People always talk about the community here at Spring Arbor, and if it wasn’t for the impact of other Christians walking alongside me, I don’t think I would’ve become the person I am. Having that push and desire to grow alongside peers and mentors who were also deepening their relationship with Christ was a game-changer.”

Ruth Doty

“SAU has taught me the importance of not only sharing the gospel verbally but with my actions as well. Each professor corporates their spirituality and faith in the curriculum. They all challenge us to think critically for ourselves and share the love of Christ at the same time.”

“Spring Arbor University has allowed me opportunities to develop myself as a professional because of the classes I have taken and the amazing professors that teach them. Because of them, I know I will do great in any role and be able to tackle any task a future job could throw at me.”

Macie Hefron

“I see the professors at SAU not just as professors but as mentors and future resources, all of them are just an easy email away as I venture into this new time in my life. I see their leadership in and out of the classroom. They’re extremely supportive in every single one of the students’ lives here at SAU. I couldn’t be more thankful.”

“I love Spring Arbor! The university has provided me with a great education in the Bible, theology, history, and tradition. The professors here have been great, not only in teaching me what I needed to learn but also in developing me spiritually and emotionally as a leader. I now have a great foundation to pursue my next steps in seminary.”

Annie Nichol

“Spring Arbor University cultivated a place for me to discover what it means to be a Christ-follower as an everyday participant in the world. Through the education program, I’ve formed incredible one-on-one relationships with faculty who have walked with me through so many different seasons of my life.”

“My experience at Spring Arbor has honestly been one of the most transformative times in my life. Whether that’s from what I’m learning in the classroom, or just from experiences with friends, I’ve been able to gain a broader perspective on the world and my faith while being rooted and grounded in Scripture.”
