Bio

Dr. Holiday married her husband David in 1978. They have two children, a daughter and a son. They also have two grandsons. Dr. Holiday is a member of Encounter Church in Jackson, Michigan and helps to run Encounter Church Counseling. Dr. Holiday is passionate about providing an educational experience for students to help them learn and grow their skills at becoming ethical, compassionate social workers.

Why SAU

Dr. Holiday came to SAU in 2002 as a temporary faculty member. She had a large clinical practice in Jackson, Michigan. She planned to return to full-time clinical practice but after spending a year with the social work students decided to apply for the full-time faculty position. She has been full-time with SAU ever since. She still maintains a small clinical practice in Jackson. When not working, she can be found swimming either at home or at the local Y.
