Michelle Heriford, DNP

Bio

Michelle has been an RN since 2001. In 2009, she became a nurse practitioner after receiving her master’s degree from Grand Valley State University. She has an advanced certification in hospice and palliative care and continues to work in these areas. Michelle’s love for teaching and learning encouraged her to join SAU in 2016 as an adjunct faculty member in the nursing department. In 2017, she became Director of Nurse Practitioner Programs. She is currently studying to earn her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
