Tara McCoy

Bio

Some of my research interest related to teaching and learning is focused on Open Educational Practices, Open Pedagogy, and Universal Design for Learning. I’ve worked in various industries from the public to the nonprofit sectors, consulting, and automotive since I started working professionally. I enjoy developing and teaching courses in various disciplines within academia. In addition to teaching, I work full-time as the Lead Instructional Designer at Spring Arbor University. Some of my past roles include Deputy Director for a Non-Profit Alternative Dispute Resolution Agency, Project Analyst/Implementer for a Business Process Consulting Firm, and Project Coordinator for a major municipality.
