SAU alumna Beth A. Habecker Ph.D. named 2021 AAAS fellow

Beth A. Habecker Ph.D.

Beth Habecker Ph.D., a member of the SAU Board of Trustees and member of the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board, has received one of the top honors from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The AAAS Council named her an AAAS Fellow on Jan. 26, 2022.

Habecker currently serves as a professor of chemical physiology and biochemistry at Oregon Health & Science University. After graduating from SAU, she received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Washington in Seattle and completed her postdoctoral training in Neuroscience at Case Western Reserve University and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
