Hometown: Knoxville, Tennessee

Education: I graduated with a bachelor’s in worship ministry from Spring Arbor University!

Interests: I love hanging out with friends, playing music, exploring coffee shops and reading a good book. C.S. Lewis is, and will probably always be, my favorite author. I am a HUGE Vans fanatic. I will talk shoes for hours. I also have an unusual number of fun facts to toss into any situation. You name a topic, and I probably have a fun fact. I’m a southerner by birth, but I have a love for all things Michigan.

Testimony: So I grew up in a Christian home, but what was different was that my parents were what I like to call “late bloomer” Christians. They found the Lord later in life, only just before I was born. They were so excited to learn about Jesus and share the Gospel with me at a very young age. Through them, I found a love for Christ, which has continued to deepen in my study and application of Scripture since then. In high school, I started to really dive deeper and make my faith my own, but that didn’t come without trials. I struggled with my faith deeply as the years went by, and finally my senior year rolled around. I wrestled for a long time, but I had a theology teacher in high school who partnered with me and helped me dig deeper. That was a huge breakthrough. Jesus sought me out anyway. Alongside many amazing people, I became restored and renewed by the Lord with each passing day, and I’ll continue to do so into the future.

Statement of Purpose: I love building relationships with everyone. It’s the way the Lord designed me! I believe that everyone has their own story, and each one has something for others to take away, because that’s the Body of Christ in action. I love helping others find value and a sense of purpose as the person God has called them to be, through their gifts and passions. The transition of life from high school to college is such an exciting one, and I want everyone to have the greatest experience possible. I grew so much in my time at Spring Arbor, and I can’t wait to give back and pour into students’ lives.
