Spring Arbor Give Day: A Day of Generosity and Community

An SAU student recording a video for social media.

At Spring Arbor University, we are gearing up for a special occasion on April 26 that goes beyond just fundraising—it’s a day of celebration, community, and giving back to a place that has impacted so many students’ and alumni’s lives for Christ. Spring Arbor Give Day is a day of giving back, but there is so much more to what it means than just finances.

On Spring Arbor Give Day, students, alumni, faculty and friends will join together in support of SAU to show how your financial gifts benefit the lives and future careers of our students.

1. A day to celebrate and come together as Spring Arbor University

At the heart of Spring Arbor Give Day is a celebration of unity. On Spring Arbor Give Day, students, alumni, faculty and friends will join together in support of SAU to show how your financial gifts benefit the lives and future careers of our students—as well as celebrate what makes SAU so special to the students that come here. Whether on campus or connecting virtually from around the globe, everyone is invited to be part of this collective spirit of giving.

If you’re on campus to celebrate, festivities like the Breakfast Bash, yard games and free swag, and catered Chick-Fil-A will be held on the plaza as well as the Aspen Room in the Kresge Student Center from 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

2. A day to encourage giving back through time, talents, and finances

Spring Arbor Give Day isn’t just about monetary donations; it’s about giving in time, talent, and finances. From volunteering for community projects to sharing skills and expertise with students, alumni, and staff, there are countless ways to contribute to the mission of Spring Arbor University. This emphasis on holistic giving reflects our commitment to nurturing not just financial support, but a culture of generosity in all aspects of life even after graduation.

If you would like to make a financial gift, you can do so at Spring Arbor’s Give Day page.

3. A day to be engaged with SAU stories

Part of what makes Spring Arbor Give Day so special is having the opportunity to hear from students and faculty how the Arbor Fund directly impacts their experience at SAU. Students share their stories from the unique opportunities they’re given through the Arbor Fund, like the CORE program, Spiritual Life, Athletics, Cross-Culturals, and Radio. These stories serve as a reminder of the meaningful work being done at SAU and the lasting legacy of its faithful supporters.

You can learn more about the impact that your financial giving has on our students and faculty on our social media platforms throughout the week leading up to April 26.

4. A day to invite and inspire others to be a part of SAU

Beyond the SAU community, Give Day is a chance to invite and inspire others to join in the journey of transformation and education. Through the personal testimonies shared on social media, SAU ambassadors extend a warm invitation to friends, family, and beyond, encouraging them to be part of something bigger than themselves.

As April 26 approaches, we are excited and wait in anticipation of what’s in store for this year’s Give Day. It’s a day that encapsulates the spirit of Spring Arbor University—where generosity meets purpose, and where every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. You can help us reach our goal of 300 gifts in 24 hours! Join us on Spring Arbor Give Day and be part of a legacy of impact and community that continues to help our campus thrive.
