Freshman Bible Project

Our mission at SAU is to remain committed to providing access to a Christ-centered education where students learn valuable professional skills and how to incorporate their love of Christ into everything they do. The Freshman Bible Project is a significant way you can support this mission and our students.

Each summer, over 250 Bibles are purchased for the incoming freshman class through the generous support of faculty, staff, friends and alumni of Spring Arbor University. Through this project you also have the opportunity to write a note of encouragement to a freshman that will be inserted in their Bible this fall. Will you consider writing a note and gifting a Bible to a student?

This is an amazing opportunity to share your love of Scripture with a student and make an eternal kingdom impact.

This bible offers the best study tools for a young audience.  Along with verse by verse study notes, it provides rich background material so students can enter into the cultural world of the biblical writers and readers.  This Bible is recommended by SAU Theology department and is used as part of the survey courses in our general education.

Every $25 gift provides a study Bible for one student. You can make a singular gift or your can give various amounts to cover multiple students even up to an entire Core Group! You can also select a recurring annual gift to ensure your impact is made each year, or a recurring monthly gift which would provide at least 12 incoming freshman with a bible.

With each gift made, we also ask that you write a note of encouragement that will be inserted into the number of bibles you are providing. Once you make your gift, you will be provided a link to submit your note.
