Academic Support Center
Mission Statement
We, at Spring Arbor University, are committed to the value and potential of every human being as created in God’s image and thus accountable to him and responsible for effective, redemptive participation in society and culture. Therefore, the Academic Support Center offers services that empower all students to maximize their learning experience, access and participation at SAU.
About
We endeavor to maximize the God-given talents and abilities of all students at SAU by connecting students to high-quality peer tutors, providing study skills training, and consulting with students to identify and develop strategies to meet learning needs.
Our office works collaboratively with University Partners to foster a welcoming, accessible, diverse, and inclusive University community. In achieving this, ASC collaborates and empowers individuals who have documented disabilities by working together proactively to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodative measures.
Staff
The Academic Support Center staff have been trained to assist students on a variety of levels. Students are encouraged to call or email them or stop in to schedule a meeting in the lower level of the student center.
